We had a fabulous last week of school before Winter Break.  Our regular work continued, but we also made time for crafts and fun.  The students had a wonderful time on Friday with our holiday party....thanks for all those for sending in 'goodies' !!

The Nutcracker Ballet

The students had a wonderful time Friday attending the Community Nutcracker at the Florida Theatre.  We were excited to watch for a few "special" mice.....Ms. Cuartas' daughter and two fifth grade Parkwood patrols who were former students of mine.

True or False?

In this math activity the students worked with a partner to determine if an equation was true or false. They enjoyed using clipboards and moving around the room to locate each equation. In the end we gathered and shared answers and strategies for solving.
